Banda Eva
The EVA (or group known as Banda EVA) is a band of Bahian axé music that has great success during the 1990s, under the voice of Ivete Sangalo, through Emanuelle Araújo and currently, the EVA has the lead singer Saulo Fernandes.
EVA The band emerged in 1993 from the block carnavalesco soteropolitano homonym. At the end of the 1970s, a group of friends, members of the Marist College community of El Salvador, met every week-end to chat and sing. Those meetings came in 1980, the idea of forming a block of carnavalesco EVA name, short for "Old Airport Road", a place where the block was annually and has not therefore any connection - although many think so -- with biblical allegory of Adam and Eve
In 2002, the band changed its name EVA and is now called Group of EVA or EVA only. Today the group owns the block and EVA band, franchises in Brazil and produces festivals and micaretas.
The Banda Eva pull circuit in the Campo Grande Bloco Eva, in the Barra-Ondina circuit the band currently commands the blocks Bamboo and Coco Nú Other. Have also commanded the block Beer & CIA.
